Bio

This journal is a spiritual reflection through dreams, inpsiration from another's words or writings, and personal observations. I leave this journal open to view and to comment, as knowledge should be shared so it does not loses its potency. Please correct, instruct, or share your viewpoints, but note - this is a "safe space" and NO intolerance or denigration will be allowed.

Personal Manifesto:

I claim Christianity as my personal faith system, although I lean towards a more open spirituality today. I prefer the terms "The Divine" or "The Deity", as the term "God" often carries archaic patriarchal connotations. God is neither male nor female; that is a human classification. Instead, God has both Male and Female attributes - which are often separated and worshipped independently by Neo-Pagans and Wiccans.

I also believe in the sacrifical aspect of God, manifested in the human form of Jesus Christ. I believe the most important lesson The Divine would have us learn is to love and respect each other, and to honour God - or the gods as individual aspects of the One God - often to the point of sacrificing what we might will for our lives to cause of the greater good.

Do I believe in Magick? I believe we are created beings, imbued with the essence of The Divine Creator God at the time of creation. I believe in the absolute existence of personal power as an extension of Heavenly Power, and that all created things - including the universe around us - have been instilled with this personal power and through it we have access to Divine power. And I believe that certain activities, such as praise, prayer or meditation, are ways we can raise and direct that energy (our will) towards an intent or magickal working to bring about its fruition.

I believe there are many ways to worship and give thanks to the Deity, from formalized church worship and communion services to meditating in the middle of nature, chanting a blessing within a sacred circle, or closing your eyes in the middle of a busy day and whispering a quick prayer of thanks.
